Πάντως η έως τώρα ενασχόληση με την νέα μου GoPro Hero 3+ Silver Edition μου έχει αφήσει άριστες εντυπώσεις!!

Και εξηγούμαι!

Καταρχάς η μπαταρία όντως κρατάει περισσότερο και σε συνθήκες χαμηλών θερμοκρασιών!!

Έχουν βελτιώσει τις αναλύσεις που στην δική μου περίπτωση είναι υπέρ αρκετές και αιτία που δεν πήρα την Black Edition ενώ είχα την δυνατότητα!!

Το νέο σκάφανδρο είναι πολύ μικρότερο σε σχέση με το παλιό!!

Λιγότερα προβλήματα με την σύνδεση μέσω WiFi και κατά πολύ πιο γρήγορο σε σχέση με το παλιό!!

Γενικά η κάμερα με καλύπτει πλήρως σύμφωνα με τις δραστηριότητες που κάνω!!Και θεωρώ ότι θα είμαι καλυμμένος για πολύ ακόμη μετά το λίφτινγκ που έκαναν στην σειρά 3+!!

Δεν ξέρω αν την έχει κάποιος και αν έχει αντιμετωπίσει κάποια προβλήματα!

Πάντως δεν έχω μετανιώσει καθόλου για την επιλογή μου!!

Πήρε ο αδερφός μου την +black edition και έπαθα πλάκα με την ανάλυση (4K) και τον φακό ! Απίθανη σίγουρα , και όπως λει ένας γνωστός τέτοιες κάμερες πρέπει να έχουν οι φίλοι σου να σε τραβάνε !!!

Στα 4Κ είναι παντελώς άχρηστη, καθώς γράφει στα 15fps (αν θυμάμαι καλά), οπότε η κίνηση θα σου φαίνεται κομμένη. Σίγουρα έχει άλλες χάρες, αλλά νομίζω ότι το κενό ανάμεσα σε black και silver έχει μειωθεί αισθητά όπως λέει σωστά και ο coroner.

Προσωπικά πιστεύω ότι οι δυνατότητες που έχει η Black Edition στο 90% των χρηστών είναι άχρηστες!

Θεωρώ ότι η Silver Edition είναι η πιο συνετή επιλογή!

Για 4Κ έχουμε ακόμη πάρα πολλά ψωμιά να φάμε!

Δεν παίρνεις την Black Edition για τα 4Κ!Έχει άλλα χαρακτηριστικά που θα σε οδηγήσουν σε αυτήν την επιλογή!

Όσοι το σκέφτονται ας ζυγίσουν τα θέλω τους και να δουν ποια απο τις 3 κάμερες ταιριάζει στις δικές τους απαιτήσεις!

πηγαινε σε ενα ποδηλαταδικο και παρε μια παλια τρυπια σαμπρελα. κοψε μια λωριδα 5-10 ποντους αναλογα το κενο και τυλιξε το κονταρι και βαλε την βαση .

GoPro Hero 4 Specs Leaked? 4K at 30p and 1080p at 120fps

The chip manufacturer for GoPro cameras have released specs for its new system on chip (SOC). The company building this chip, Ambarella, has been exclusively providing SOCs for GoPro, so it looks like this could be the real deal on what to expect from the GoPro Hero 4.

If not the actual physical board shown in the A9 release, the tech specs should/could be the equivalent to a customized board built specifically for GoPro. In fact, the A9 board in Ambarella’s press release is marketed toward the imaging industry as a whole and would almost certainly not be the final GoPro Hero 4 SOC.

Notably, the SOC delivers 4K video at a full 30p, along with 1080p at 120 fps and 720p at 240 fps. In addition to the powerful video features, it also delivers on multi-exposure HDR and WDR tone mapping.

If these specs show up in the GoPro Hero 4 later this year, it likely means GoPro will taken even more of the market share that it created while everyone else plays catch up.

Of course, we would expect these specs to only land in the top end model, like we currently see with the GoPro Hero 3+ Black Edition, while cheaper models get a reduced set of features.

Πράγματι, αυτό το υποτιμούν πολλοί. Όσο ανεβαίνει η ποιότητα θέλεις και μηχάνημα αναπαραγωγής δυνατό. Αν πάμε και στο θέμα της επεξεργασίας... καλά ξεμπερδέματα.

 

 

Μα επίτηδες τα κάνουν όλα για να κάνεις και την αναβάθμισή σου στο pc μαζί με την κάμερα. Θα τρέξουν τώρα να πάρουν κάμερα που τραβάει 4κ και θα τους είναι άχρηστη επειδή δε θα μπορούν να δουν τα βιντεάκια. Εδώ πολλοί ακόμα δεν μπορούν να δουν full hd με 60fps και θα δουν 4κ. Καλά...

Νομιζω ότι κάνεις τώρα λήψεις για να τις βλέπεις στο μέλλον. Αν θέλεις να βγάλεις τα παιδιά σου τώρα, δεν θα έχεις τον χρόνο για να περιμένεις. Είναι κάπως όταν έβγαζα σε hd, χωρίς να έχω τηλεόραση hd. Βέβαια, τώρα, λέω ευτυχώς που τότε έβγαζα σε hd και όχι σε ποιότητα απλού βίντεο.

Camera filter and lighting gel manufacturer Lee Filters has introduced a range of filters and filter holders aimed at extreme sports fans using GoPro action cams. The Lee Bug is available in two forms - the Lee Bug 3 and the Lee Bug 3+ - which are compatible with GoPro Hero 3 and Hero 3+ cameras.

The filter holder, which Lee describes as 'compact and robust', attaches over the lens of the Hero cameras and allows Bug-sized filters to be placed in the light path. Lee claims the 36x31mm filters designed for the Bug system will be of identical quality to all other filters in the company's camera filter ranges.

Initially available as two kits, the holders will come supplied with two filters each. The Bug Action Kit, for use above ground, will contain a holder with a 3-stop neutral density graduated filter and a glass circular polariser. The Bug Underwater Kit will contain the holder with blue-water and green-water color-correction filters.

Lee has told DPReview that it plans to introduce additional filters to the range, such as solid NDs to create smooth video footage in bright conditions, and that the company will welcome suggestions from GoPro users.

Despite the ubiquity of GoPro's diminutive 'action cam' video cameras, the company has reported a loss of14.84€ million for the second quarter following an additional loss of 3.82€ million from the year prior. GoPro first went public in June of this year, and while shares have dropped a whopping 11-15% following the financial results, everything is not necessarily doom and gloom for the company.

 

 

Second-quarter profits of 8 cents a share actually exceeded analysts' expectations of 7 cents a share while, similarly, the company explains that the losses themselves were largely due to regulatory costs and inflated expectations from going public as well as research and development. Sales actually rose by more than 30%, beating analysts' expectations of 178.42€ million by 4.87€ million in data compiled by Bloomberg. The IPO started shares at 17.98€ while currently averaging roughly 29.97€ a share in comparison to a high of nearly36.72€ in early July. Aside from the financial results, GoPro continues a massive lead in the niche action cam segment. Thanks to its immense popularity with athletes and outdoor enthusiasts of all kinds, the company's YouTube channel alone sports more than 2 million subscribers.

 

Still, as video technology becomes easier and cheaper to produce, GoPro is facing stiff competition from imaging companies like Drift, JVC, Panasonic, Sony and many more. It's not too surprising that the company would chalk many of the losses to R&D as it attempts to leverage crowded hardware sales into a more diversified media empire. Such avenues for expansion include company-generated original video productions, copious advertising and retail partnerships, worldwide expansion, software licensing and sales of mounts and peripherals.

 

For example, GoPro recently announced a new channel for the Microsoft Xbox One game console, while dropping hints of more to come on streaming devices like the Apple TV and Roku formats. Equally, the company pointed out that the number of GoPro-related videos published and viewed on YouTube has more than doubled during the same timeframe. It expects to report much stronger second-half results.

GoPro HERO4 Revealed!

 

The rumor mill is abuzz with speculation, but we have the first full scoop on the GoPro HERO4.

 

As many have reported, the two big features that are appearing are 4K video recording at 30FPS and a built-in touch display.

 

Unfortunately, these two features won’t be appearing in the same camera. Instead, there will be two models: the HERO4 Black (shown above) and the HERO4 Silver (shown below).

HERO4 Black

The HERO4 Black is a powerhouse action camera that doubles the performance of the previous GoPro (yet again). Touted as “the most advanced GoPro ever,” it has improved image quality and a 2x more powerful processor.

 

The Black will capture 4K video at 30 frames per second, up from the 15fps of previous GoPros, allowing for extremely high-quality footage that’s much more usable for a wide variety of applications.

 

Here are the available resolutions and frame rates: 4K at 30fps, 2.7K at 50fps, 1440p at 80fps, 1080p at 120fps, 960p at 120fps, and 720p at 120fps. It appears these cameras are no longer capable of 240fps.

 

For still images, you’ll be able to capture 12 megapixel photos at 30 frames per second.

Audio capture is also improved, with the new system capturing 2x the dynamic range.

 

On the front of the camera is an ultra-wide angle glass lens, and the camera can be set to three different field-of-view settings: Ultra Wide, Medium, and Narrow.

 

There will be new manual settings for both photography and videography — controls such as color, ISO limit, exposure, and more.

 

The camera is waterproof down to 131 feet (40m). Other features include built-in Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, exposure settings for nighttime shooting, a “HiLight Tag” feature for marking key moments in footage, a QuikCapture feature for powering up and recording with one button press, and auto low light features.

 

Regarding the issue of backward compatibility, the Black and Silver will both be compatible with all GoPro mounts and accessories.

HERO4 Silver

The HERO4 Silver doesn’t offer 4K video recording at 30fps (it still does 15fps), but it’s the first GoPro to offer a convenient built-in touch display.

Users will be able to control the camera, frame shots, and review content simply by tapping and swiping the screen.

On the video side, the Silver will be able to capture 4K at 15fps, 2.7K at 30fps, 1440p at 48fps, 1080p at 60fps, 960p at 100fps, and 720p at 120fps.

 

For still photography, the Silver will match the Black with 12 megapixel photos at 30 frames per second.

 

The other features (e.g. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, HiLight Tag, QuikCapture, waterproofing) are pretty much the same as the HERO4 Black.

Other Accessories

 

Other accessories to be announced alongside the HERO4 include: a blackout housing that gives your camera a matte black finish for stealthy and low-glare shooting, a removable battery pack that gives your GoPro more juice, a dual battery charger for juicing two packs simultaneously, a wearable waterproof remote, and a grip that keeps your camera afloat.

Pricing and Availability

 

We haven’t heard anything in terms of pricing and availability, but our source tells us that the official announcement date for the GoPro HERO4 cameras will most likely be October 8th, 2014.

Νομίζω πως αυτή είναι πραγματικά μία πολύ σοβαρή αναβάθμιση της εν λόγω κάμερας, η οποία πλέον δεν χρειάζεται 1.000.000 παρελκόμενα τα οποία έχουν και αρκετά αλμυρή τιμή. (πχ LCD bacpac). Παράλληλα, τα χαρακτηριστικά της Silver edition είναι αρκετά δυνατά έτσι ώστε να την προτιμήσεις έναντι της Black. Νομίζω πως οι αμερικανοί της gopro άρχισαν πλέον να αισθάνονται τον έντονο ανταγωνισμό στο χώρο των action cam κάτι που μόνο όφελος μπορεί να φέρει στον καταναλωτή.
