Καλησπερα σε ολους/ολες.........

 

Με αφορμη καποια τοπικ στο φορουμ σχετικα με ΧΚ στις ΗΠΑ, στα οποια καποιοι φροντισαν να εμπλουτισουν και με φωτογραφιες , καθως επισης και με προτροπες ..." Καλα εχεις εξασφαλισμενη διαμονη και δεν πηγαινεις????" :D , μπηκα σε σκεψεις για ενα ταξειδι στας Αμερικας..... το ποτε ακριβως δεν ξερω αλλα ΣΙΓΟΥΡΑ θα το κανω!!!! ( Για φετος τουλαχιστον προηγειται σταθερα το St. Moritz)

 

Το σπιτι που θα με φιλοξενησει ειναι στην περιοχη του Amherst στην Mασαχουσετη........ Εχω ηδη ριξει μια ματια και στο παρελθον για τα κοντινα Χ.Κ. αλλα μηπως καποιος εχει παει η ξερει καλυτερα που αξιζει καλυτερα να "τσουλισει" κανεις εκει κοντα???? Τα περισσοτερα που εχω τσεκαρει ειναι μικρα και με μικρο σχετικα υψομετρο......... :)

Ο brother βρισκεται στις ΗΠΑ και θα επιστρεψει κατα τις 20/1. Μενει ΝΥC και εχει ψιλοχαλαρο προγραμμα. Παιζει κανενα αξιολογο χιονοδρομικο σε κοντινη (=οχι αεροπλανο) αποσταση; Εχει χρονο και αυτοκινητο, δεν εχει μεγαλο budget.

Belleayre Mountain

Holiday Mountain Ski Area

Located in the Catskill Mountains in Monticello, New York, Holiday Mountain appeals to everyone from first-time skiers to daredevil snowboarders.

Holiday Valley

This Ellicottville, New York, ski resort boasts 52 slopes, 12 lifts and three base lodges. Holiday Valley also operates three terrain parks for snowboarders, skiers and ski boarders. Cross-country skiers and snowshoers will find packed trails on the golf course at the base of the mountain.

Hunt Hollow Ski Club

Frequent skiers and snowboarders may want to consider joining this private ski club near Rochester in Naples, New York. The <_<-acre ski area has 100% snowmaking.

Hunter Mountain

Hunter Mountain in the Catskills calls itself the snowmaking capital of the world. 100 percent of Hunter's 53 trails have snowmaking, and all 240 acres of the ski area can be covered by 1,100 snow guns. Even if winter doesn't cooperate, Hunter Mountain is a great place for skiing.

McCauley Mountain Ski Center

Located in the Adirondack Park in the town of Old Forge, New York, McCauley Mountain is a downhill and cross-country ski area where three Olympians have learned to ski.

Peek 'n Peak Resort

Peek 'n Peak is in western New York's Chautauqua County. For a charming ski getaway, stay at the Inn at the Peak, a 19th-century mansion turned inn. You'll have easy access to the ski resort's downhill slopes, tubing arena and cross-country trails.

Plattekill Mountain Ski Area

Titus Mountain

Windham Mountain

Τωρα το ειδα αυτο. Ξερω οτι στο Vermont εχει σπουδαια ΧΚ, εγω εψαχνα για κατι πιο κοντινο, που να μπορει να παει ακομα και ημερησια.

Εχει ζησει ενα χρονο στο New Haven, και γενικα εχει παει ανατολικη ακτη αρκετες φορες, αλλα τοτε δεν ειχε χρονο για εκδρομες.
