xmen 1,197 Report post Posted October 12, 2022 (edited) Όπως αναφέρεται στην περιγραφή, από την περιοχή του τερματισμού (κερκίδα, σαλέ, κλπ) έχεις ανεμπόδιστη θέα σχεδόν στο σύνολο της διαδρομής. Πιστεύω μένει αξιομνημόνευτη σε όποιον την έχει αντικρύσει ή έχει κατέβει έστω και για μία φορά. Ωραία και ενδιαφέροντα τα στοιχεία της διαδρομής που παρατίθενται. Περιμένουν χιόνι, κάτι παραπάνω από 10 εκατοστά, αλλά οι θερμοκρασίες είναι οριακές για την γραμμή τερματισμού για το αν θα είναι βροχή ή χιόνι. 1 Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Koumparos 5,439 Report post Posted October 23, 2022 Μόλις διάβασα ότι ματαιώθηκε και ο αγώνας του επόμενου σαββατοκύριακου λόγω ελλείψεως χιονιού. Στο Matterhorn, η κατάβαση ανδρών. Πάμε για αύριο, συνέλευση με αγώνες!!! Ακριβώς έτσι έγινε. Δυστυχώς η κακοκαιρία express δεν επέτρεψε την διεξαγωγή των αγώνων το Σάββατο. Η κακοκαιρία ξεκίνησε το βράδυ με τις υφιστάμενες υψηλές θερμοκρασίες ως βροχή. Αν και η θερμοκρασία έπεφτε σταδιακά και το πρωί είχαμε (υγρό) χιόνι μέχρι την βάση, δυστυχώς η πίστα δεν ήταν σε κατάλληλες συνθήκες για ασφαλή αγώνα. Εντός της εβδομάδας θα πουν αν θα αντικατασταθεί ή αν θα χαθεί η πρώτη αγωνιστική. Οι Κυριακάτικοι αγώνες ανδρών πάντως μας χάρισαν μερικά πολύ ωραία πλάνα, ειδικά στο πρώτο τμήμα του αγώνα που χρησιμοποίησαν και drone. Βλέποντας την κατεβασιά, ειδικά για όσους έχουν κατέβει την πίστα, είναι να απορεί κανείς πως είναι δυνατόν να αναπτύσουν ταχύτητες πάνω από 80 χιλιόμετρα την ώρα στο απότομο κομμάτι και να κάνουν τόσο κλειστές στροφές με αυτόν τον έλεγχο! Τελικά ξανακέρδισε ο περσινός νικητής, ο Ελβετός Odermatt, που απ'ότι φαίνεται έχει μπροστά του μια 5ετία πολλά υποσχόμενη. Όσο για τους επόμενους αγώνες θα είναι δύσκολα τα πράγματα. Οι πολύ υψηλές θερμοκρασίες του καλοκαιριού έχουν δημιουργήσει πολλά ελλείματα χιονιού στους παγετώνες και ίσως η αδυναμία να κάνεις εκεί σκι να μην είναι το μεγαλύτερο πρόβλημα. Οι καιρικές συνθήκες στην Ευρώπη είναι καταθλιπτικές, καθώς ένα τεράστιο υψηλό που επικρατεί αναμένεται να ενισχυθεί περαιτέρω, δημιουργώντας αρκετά ρεκόρ. Έτσι για τις επόμενες 2 εβδομάδες περιμένουμε να σπάσουν όλα τα ρεκόρ ζέστης για την εποχή, άρα μάλλον δεν περιμένουμε χιόνια ακόμα και σε παγετώνες. Ειδικά για αγώνες DH, που θέλουμε μεγάλες υψομετρικές διαφορές, τα πράγματα είναι ακόμα πιο δύσκολα καθώς χρειάζεται χιόνι και σε πιο χαμηλά υψόμετρα. 5 Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Koumparos 5,439 Report post Posted December 2, 2022 Ο αγώνας των ανδρών στο Beaver creek αναβλήθηκε πριν από λίγο λόγω χιονόπτωσης. Τους έριξε λένε 25 cm φρέσκο χιόνι από το πρωί και συνεχίζει . Για αύριο πιθανόν να γίνει, ο καιρός δείχνει καλύτερος. Όποτε για σήμερα, οι γυναίκες στις 21:00 ώρα Ελλάδος. Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
